Our top priority is to make every dental experience a good one! While we focus on prevention, sealants, and conservative monitoring, sometimes treatment is recommended. No two kids are the same, so we offer individually tailored treatment options and additional services on an as need basis including silver diamine fluoride applications (SDF), nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and sedation dentistry. Dr Jessica is on staff at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital for times when general anesthesia is indicated. Nitrous oxide or laughing gas is a safe, in office treatment option that reduces anxiety and allows us to make dental procedures more comfortable, but does not "put to sleep". This can be a great option for kids of a young age requiring treatment, kids with anxieties or those requiring extensive treatment. Silver diamine fluoride or SDF works by applying a liquid onto a cavity to arrest the decay. This is a noninvasive, atraumatic option for the treatment of some cavities. Parents can relax knowing that we offer a range of options so that your child can have the most comfortable dental experience possible.
